Prospective Graduate Students
I am interested in advising graduate students in all areas of ecological interactions, mainly with bats. Send an email with your research interests (e.g. the questions you are interested in addressing), and your career objectives (this will help me determine if I am really the best advisor for you). Please also include a list of the courses you have taken in ecology and statistics, and the types of research experiences you have in ecology. In general I expect of grad students are interested in using experiments, modeling, or other quantitative methods to test novel hypotheses in ecological interactions. In my work I use the R environment for data analysis, so, I expect that grad students wish to learn this analytical tool for developing your M.Sc. dissertations or Ph.D thesis.
